KS1 Teaching Assistant, Reading Intervention & SEND Support
Location: Sheffield, S35
Pay: £92.63 to £100 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

We're working with a welcoming primary school in the S35 area of Sheffield that's looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to deliver reading interventions while supporting pupils with SEND. You'll be helping children build confidence, develop key literacy skills, and enjoy learning at their own pace.
No two days are the same, but every day you'll make a genuine difference.
What you'll be doing- Delivering targeted reading intervention sessions across KS1
- Supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one and small group basis
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo
- Helping pupils stay engaged, confident, and ready to learn
- Creating a calm, positive learning environment where every child can thrive
- Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in KS1
- Knowledge of reading interventions or literacy support
- Experience supporting children with SEND
- A patient, positive, and flexible approach
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
