Can you build the trust that transforms a child's day?
We are looking for resilient, empathetic Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across our partner schools in Sheffield.
This is more than just classroom support. You'll be helping children regulate their emotions, re-engage with learning, and build the confidence they need to succeed. If you have SEN or youth-work experience and want a role with real impact, we want to hear from you.
Why join Academics?
- Flexibility - Choose the days you work. Real work-life balance.
- Great pay - Competitive daily rates with holiday pay included.
- "Try before you buy" /b> - Experience different schools before committing to a permanent role.
- Temp-to-perm - Many roles lead to permanent contracts.
- Dedicated support - A friendly team who see you as a colleague, not a number.
- Refer a friend - Earn up to £75 in vouchers for every referral.
What you need:
- Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEN, or challenging behaviour (school, care, or youth work setting).
