About The Role

Education Support Assistant

This part-time 20.44 hours weekly (0.56

FTE) post is available immediately on a permanent basis.

The starting salary will be from £28,029 per annum pro rata on Grade

C.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home, following the first six months in post, which will be campus-based, whilst training is delivered.

If so, our Education Support Assistant roles in Education and Academic Services could be for you.

As key members of the Education Support team on the Penryn campus, you'll be part of a Hub team, contributing to the vibrant learning environment at the University of Exeter. These roles offer a unique opportunity to grow as an administration and customer services professional.

What you'll be doing...
  • Provide advice, guidance, and administrative support to students and staff.
  • Collaborate within a cross-Faculty team to support undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Have the flexibility to work across various service areas and Information Point locations within the University.
About You

We are looking for dynamic and committed individuals with:

  • Strong desire to build a career in administration and customer services.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Adaptability in a culture of change and growth.

These roles form a vital part of our support services, including delivering a face‑to‑face service for students and staff, as such, role holders will be expected to work from campus for a minimum of two days per week, as well as full‑time whilst training is completed.

Please also note that as busy roles with peaks in workload at specific points in the academic cycle, there may be periods in June, September, and October when leave may be restricted.
