Electrical Installation Lecturer
Permanent | Northamptonshire | Up to £45,000 per annum

A well-established and highly regarded technical and land-based college in Northamptonshire is looking to appoint an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join their Construction department on a permanent basis.

What you’ll be doing
  • Delivering Electrical Installation courses to full-time and part-time students
  • Supporting learners both practically and academically throughout their studies
  • Acting as a course tutor, including monitoring attendance and learner progress
  • Helping to develop curriculum content in line with current industry needs
  • Creating engaging lessons that bring real-world industry experience into the classroom
What do you need?
  • Industry experience within Electrical Installation
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to support and develop learners
  • A teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential
  • If you don’t already hold a teaching qualification, the college will support you to achieve one
  • Assessor qualifications such as TAQA, CAVA or A1 are beneficial but not required
