You will be expected to deliver lectures, seminars and studio teaching and devise project-based assessment. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the development of our MSc Zero Carbon Building and Technologies and BA Interior Architecture and Design courses.

We have a thriving research culture in the Architecture subject area and across the wider Institute and you will be given the opportunity to contribute to research, either through continuing your existing areas of research or benefit ting from support within the institute to begin or develop a research profile.

Our architecture courses have a reputation for teaching quality and high levels of student support and satisfaction. We have a strong academic community committed to the critical and creative investigation of environmental and social agendas in architecture and the pursuit of ethical and progressive modes of architectural practice.

We offer a diverse range of benefits and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment.

Should you be enrolled into TPS, each year you will earn a secure pension benefit of 1/57th of your salary and the University will pay pension contributions towards the cost of this pension (currently worth about 29% of your salary). For a salary of £40,000, for example, the University would pay just over £11,400 in the first year of your employment and you would earn a pension of £702 p.a. for that year (payable from your State Pension Age).
