You'll guide students through a broad and balanced curriculum, creating lessons that spark curiosity and encourage every learner to reach their full potential. Working alongside supportive colleagues and families, you'll help shape the personal and academic growth of young people. Does building trusted relationships and seeing students succeed inspire you?

• Plan and teach engaging lessons with clear learning goals that build on what students already know
• Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, high ability students and EAL learners
• Use effective questioning and teaching methods that help students develop deep understanding
• Provide regular feedback that guides students to reflect on their progress and improve their work
• Create a positive classroom culture where good behaviour and mutual respect are the norm
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff and families to help every child succeed

You'll have a degree and Qualified Teacher Status, along with a secure knowledge of your subject. Strong IT skills and an understanding of what excellent teaching looks like are essential. Can you show patience, empathy and resilience when working with young people?
