Fir Vale Academy is a large 11- 16 mixedsecondary Academy located in the North of Sheffield. We are excited to be partof United Learning Trust, one of the country's leading education groups. We are seeking a committed and compassionate Headof Year to join our pastoral team and play a key role in supporting thewellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of our students.
Working closely with the Head of Year, you will support the pastoral leadership of a year group, helping to maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance, and academic progress. This role is idealfor someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people, enjoys working as part of a team, and can build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
You will also contribute to safeguardingpractices, lead on student support interventions, and help organise a range ofpastoral and whole-academy activities.
