The Role

You will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate. Working alongside a collaborative and experienced department, you will play an important role in maintaining high academic standards while creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Teach your specialist subject across KS3 and KS4.
  • Deliver KS5 lessons where appropriate.
  • Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and purposeful classroom environment.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and departmental initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

About You

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching their specialist subject across KS3 and KS4.
  • Be confident teaching KS5 (desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for education.
  • Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
