Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff, you will help students manage challenges, build confidence and take positive steps towards their education.

You will play an important role throughout the school day, supporting students both in lessons and during less structured periods while helping maintain a calm and supportive environment.

About the School:

This inclusive secondary school is committed to supporting the individual needs of its students. Staff work closely together to promote positive behaviour, strong pastoral care and high expectations, creating a structured environment where young people can feel supported and ready to learn.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with SEMH needs.
  • Help students manage emotions, behaviour and engagement with learning.

  • Share relevant observations and feedback with teaching and pastoral staff.
Requirements:

  • Experience supporting SEMH, behaviour or additional needs is advantageous.
  • A calm, patient and consistent approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
