Sheffield Higher Level Teaching Assistant Join a Supportive School We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dedicated support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA who is passionate about education and enjoys supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role As an HLTA, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities may include:
Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities to individuals and groups of pupils. Supporting teachers with the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities. Working with pupils across a range of abilities and needs. Providing targeted one-to-one and small-group support. Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment. Monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development. Supervising classes when required in the absence of the class teacher. Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and other professionals. Contributing to the wider life of the school. About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
