We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a successful and inclusive secondary school within a leading multi-academy trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced staff, supporting students both in and out of the classroom to help them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role
- Secondary Teaching Assistant
- Support students across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment and confidence.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide tailored support for students with additional needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote a supportive learning environment.
- Help students develop independence, resilience and self-belief.
- Experience working with young people in a school, educational or mentoring setting.
- A positive, patient and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students.
- Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable but not essential.
