What You'll Do:- Play a crucial role in shaping both current and future electronic product offerings, reporting directly to the Technical Manager.
- Utilise your skills in analogue and digital PCB design to create cutting‑edge electronic products.
- Engage in the full product lifecycle, from concept generation through to product release, and deliver designs into service.
- Navigate the regulatory landscape of the UK, EU, and US, ensuring your designs meet all necessary compliance standards.
- Work hands‑on with your team to tackle challenges from first principles, fostering an environment of innovation and problem‑solving.
- Review, update, and potentially redesign existing electrical items to enhance quality and safety standards.
- Generate essential documentation, including wiring diagrams and build instructions, to guide manufacturing processes and support product testing throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong background in analogue and digital PCB design, including Linear & Pulse Width Modulation Power Supplies, DC Motor Controls, and Battery Chargers.
- Proficient in fault finding to component level and safe practices regarding mains voltage primary transformers.
- Relevant Electronics Degree (or equivalent) and a CSCS card.
- Familiarity with Assembler/BASCOM/Flow Code programming languages is a plus.
- Experience in PCB design using EasyPC is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
