A well-established architectural practice with an in-house structural engineering team is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its Sheffield-based office. The consultancy employs around 100 professional staff, with a close-knit engineering team of 13, and delivers innovative, technically robust projects across the UK. This is a full-time, predominantly office-based role offering the opportunity to work closely alongside architects and other built-environment professionals in a collaborative, design-led environment.

The Role The successful candidate will be involved in the structural analysis and design of buildings from concept through to construction across a wide range of sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Structural analysis and design in steel, concrete, masonry and timber Preparation of structural calculations, specifications and technical reports Site inspections and structural appraisals Working collaboratively with architects, engineers and external consultants Supporting projects from early design stages through to delivery Project Exposure
