An engineering manufacturer based in Sheffield is looking for a Junior Production Engineer to join its friendly production team. This Sheffield-based role is ideal for someone starting out in engineering or manufacturing, with full training provided. A genuine interest in production or engineering through studies, hobbies, or practical projects is essential.
Responsibilities- Build and test instruments
- Inspect PCBs and fault-find to component level
- Support QA documentation and process improvements
- Support Service and R&D teams
- Collect and deliver parts as required
Essential:
- Attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Microsoft Office skills
- Willingness to learn
Desirable:
- Electronics qualification or IPC-A-610 awareness
- Soldering and electronics manufacturing experience
- ISO 9001 experience
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays (+ Christmas closure day)
