Overview

North West England fire safety consultancy is seeking a Senior Fire Risk Assessor or Principal Fire Risk Assessor (Level 4 or
5). The role is based in the Lake District, Lancashire, Cumbria, Manchester or West Yorkshire and offers a market leading salary of £70,000 to £80,000 plus a company car, quarterly bonus and permanent benefits.

You will lead complex and higher risk fire risk assessments, produce defensible, evidence‑based reports and mentor junior assessors within a strong technical oversight and validation framework. The position offers a clear route to Head of Consultancy and the opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK without big company politics.

• Deliver complex fire risk assessments independently for residential and commercial clients.
• Produce defensible, evidence‑based reports and defend your assessments.
• Mentor junior assessors and contribute to professional development through CPD.

• Level 4 or Level 5 qualification (or equivalent competence).
• Strong experience delivering fire risk assessments independently.
• Experience with complex buildings and defending your assessments.

• £70,000 to £80,000 pa.
• Company car/ allowance.
