We are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join our team based in Sheffield on a permanent basis. Our Project Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Electrical projects taken on by Powerstar. The role blends technical engineering expertise with project management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. You would manage, lead and support projects through pre-sales, design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Our ideal candidate will have a HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services with proven experience in Electrical Project Engineering and the ability to deliver projects from concept through to completion. You will ideally have a formal Project Management Qualification (APM/APMQ) and have knowledge of 18th Edition (BS 7671).

Knowledge of Critical Infrastructure environments is advantageous, including: HV Switchgear, Transformers, AC & DC UPS systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Micro Grids with a familiarity with design of LV/HV switch gear and sub-stations.
