Are you a recent graduate in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience or a related subject, ready to take your first step into the ground investigation industry? An established and supportive ground investigation consultancy near Sheffield is looking to welcome an enthusiastic Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to their growing team.

Your role as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer:
As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will work alongside experienced team members both on site and in the office. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with ground investigations on site
Supporting the supervision of drilling rigs and site activities
Logging soil and rock samples under guidance
Collecting and recording site data accurately
Assisting with the preparation of factual and interpretive reports
This role is designed to provide you with practical experience, technical development, and the opportunity to build confidence in a supportive environment.
To be considered for the Graduate Geotechnical Engineer role, you should:
Hold a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Earth Sciences or a related discipline (Masters preferred)
Be enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn
Have a full UK driving licence
Have the right to work in the UK
Be commutable to Sheffield and the surrounding area
