Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Safety & Airworthiness Specialist to lead and sustain a Safety Management System (SMS) within a major UK military aviation programme. This is a high-profile contract role requiring deep expertise in aviation safety management, safety investigations, and safety risk management
. The successful contractor will take ownership of the programme SMS, working closely with MOD stakeholders, aviation safety teams, and suppliers to ensure regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture. This role is not Health & Safety focused - it is pure aviation Safety Management and Airworthiness
