ACR are working with a global OEM for specialist equipment who are investing heavily in their engineering team and expanding out their field service engineering division as a direct result. The business are recognised across the world for being a market leader in their field and are a business who are constantly evolving and disrupting the engineering industry.
 
This Field Service Engineer will be working as part of a UK team, predominantly covering the South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire territory working with key clients to provide engineering expertise on their equipment needs. This is a Mon - Fri days role with no evenings or weekend work needed.
 
Field Service Engineer's

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out installation, servicing, calibration, and repair of precision engineering equipment at customer sites
Diagnose technical faults and complete effective troubleshooting to minimise equipment downtime
Provide professional on-site support and technical guidance to customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Complete service documentation accurately and maintain clear communication with the wider service team
Manage travel and workload independently, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to required standards   
Skills & Experience Required as a Field Service Engineer:
 
Proven experience in a field service or hands-on engineering role, working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently on-site.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, confident representing the business at client premises.
Well organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate calibration, servicing, and reporting.
Comfortable working independently in a field-based role, with flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required.
