Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading energy provider to recruit an Operations Technician to work on a Combined Heat and Power Plant in Seascale on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This crucial Operations Technician role is working on a rotating shift pattern and the salary can be discussed on application.

• Work as part of the operations team.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the CHP plant.
• Perform frontline mechanical and electrical maintenance as necessary.

• Experience working in a similar heavy process industry including power, chemical, refineries, etc.
• Applications from ex‑defence candidates welcome.
• A relevant engineering qualification is desired.

• Is able to work a rotating shift pattern.
• Lives in the Seascale area for the duration of the FTC.
• Works well in a team environment and also independent.
• Prioritises high levels of health and safety.

• Salary to be discussed on application.
• Rotating shift pattern on 7 week cycle with blocked time off.
