Are you a skilled CAD Technician with experience in mechanical design, looking for an immediately available days-based contract role? Do you have experience of working on Pressure Vessels or similar mechanical systems?

This is an exciting contract opportunity to support a specialist engineering business delivering safety-critical mechanical systems across defence, industrial, and energy sectors. You'll play a key role in supporting engineers and production teams by interpreting complex designs, maintaining CAD models, and managing critical technical data.

The perfect candidate will have experience of working on pressure vessels or similar mechanical systems.

In this role, you'll ensure designs are accurately interpreted and documented, produce precise drawings and BOMs, and maintain CAD data systems to support efficient production workflows.

This role is ideal for any CAD Technician with Inventor experience, looking for their next immediately available days-based contract.

The Role:

* Interpret 3D CAD models and engineering drawings to support production

* Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation

* Manage and organise CAD data in data management systems, ensuring version control

* Produce 2D drawings and deliverables from 3D models for manufacturing and inspection

The Person :

* Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 2D/3D and CAD data management systems

* Experience interpreting engineering drawings and managing BOMs

* Knowledge of mechanical fabrication, materials, and assembly processes

* Due to the nature of the projects, candidates will need to be sole British Nationals.
