Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi:billion:pound global manufacturer. Due to a recent promotion at group level, they are looking for a new Engineering Manager to lead the team

• Part of the senior leadership team, managing a team of 10 in engineering
• Manage all manufacturing and engineering maintenance across site
• Lead from the front, be present on the shopfloor and in leadership meetings
• Manage health and safety, engineering compliance, asset care plans, monitor and develop OEE
• Budget control, CAPEX projects, continuous improvement activities
• Create training and development plans for all in engineering

• Must have great people management skills : the team is very established and has good retention, so looking for someone to continue to develop the site
• Automated factory experience : manufacturing / FMCG ideally
• Understanding of engineering compliance, health and safety, LOLER, PUWER, COSHH
• Experienced with budgets, CAPEX projects, continuous improvements
• Qualified in engineering, IOSH, Lean manufacturing
• Effective communicator, part of senior leadership team, dealing with various departments
