Job Overview:

Arm’s Systems team develops world‑class IPs and subsystems for diverse application segments, focusing on AI use cases and leveraging the latest IP products from Arm and other vendors. These solutions serve multiple sectors such as mobile, server, IoT, and automotive.

Responsibilities:
  • Write test plans, define test methodologies, develop System Verilog/Verilog test benches and tests, and debug test failures and issues.
  • Collaborate with project management and leads on planning tasks, setting schedules, and quality checkpoints.
  • Work with engineers from other teams—including architecture, design, implementation, modelling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development—to verify integrated SoC IPs.
  • Mentor junior team members at senior levels.
Required

Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of full‑time experience in SoC verification.
  • Strong understanding of digital hardware design and Verilog/System Verilog HDL.
  • Embedded low‑level programming experience in C/C++ and assembly language (preferably ARM).
  • Experience with one or more verification methodologies (UVM, OVM, formal, power‑aware verification, emulation).
  • Exposure to all stages of verification—from requirements collection to test case development and documentation.
  • Good problem‑solving and debugging skills.
Preferred

Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of SoC verification flow and strategy.
  • Experience with ARM‑based designs and/or ARM System Architectures.
  • Porting peripheral driver software.
  • Clock Domain Crossing verification.
  • Experience in GLS, DFT/DFD, and power‑aware verification techniques.
  • Experience in embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures.
  • Experience verifying subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, and Ethernet.
  • Development and deployment of large SoCs on emulation platforms.
  • Automation experience with shell programming/scripting (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python).
Additional Information:

No relocation package is available for this role. If skilled worker sponsorship is required, Arm will cover the employer’s costs only. All fees associated with the individual’s application, such as visa application fee and Immigration Health Surcharge, will be the responsibility of the successful candidate.

£73,500 - £99,500 per year
