Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in high-volume production environments?

This is a brand-new opportunity to join a Global Engineering & Manufacturing Company for their UK HQ near Luton, where you will play a key role in improving production processes, driving efficiency and supporting new product introduction.

As a Manufacturing Engineer
, you will lead initiatives to improve production performance, reduce waste and enhance quality across a fast-paced manufacturing site.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and support both existing production and new product introduction activities, across a range of processes including machining, welding and fabrication.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies including Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping
• Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and output across machining, welding and fabrication processes
• Drive defect reduction through error-proofing and process control
• Support new product introduction from concept through to production
• Specify and validate equipment, tooling and fixtures
• Deliver cost reduction and value engineering projects
• Prepare and justify Cap Ex proposals including cost analysis
• Support capital investment projects and site improvements

• HND or Degree in Engineering, ideally Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, ideally automotive or similar
• Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience working with machining, welding, fabrication or assembly processes
• Experience working with automation, tooling or test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process data
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt would be advantageous
• Experience with Cap Ex or capital investment projects would be beneficial

• Salary up to £45,000
