electrical maintenance engineerthe maintenance engineering function supports the safe and reliable operation of site equipment through a combination of planned maintenance, fault response, and continuous improvement activity.
the team works across a range of production and support areas, maintaining electrical and associated systems to ensure consistent performance and minimal disruption to operations.
what the team doesday-to-day activity is a balance of preventative maintenance and reactive work, responding to issues as they arise while also working to reduce the likelihood of repeat problems.
typical responsibilities- diagnosing and resolving issues across plant and equipment
- completing scheduled maintenance to support operational reliability
- recording maintenance activity within site systems
- supporting planning and prioritisation of workload
- managing and sourcing required spare parts and materials
- working alongside external specialists when needed
- identifying improvements to equipment performance and maintenance processes
the environment is production-driven, and priorities can shift quickly depending on operational demands. The team works collaboratively to respond to these changes, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
