Join Iceotope as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and lead the development of groundbreaking liquid cooling solutions for high-performance computing and AI infrastructure. We’re seeking an innovative engineer with 8+ years’ experience in mechanical design, advanced CAD skills, and a proven track record taking products from concept to production. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, drive reliability and manufacturability, and mentor others in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Experience in data centers, HVAC, or server housing is highly desirable. Be part of a team pioneering the future of energy-efficient, sustainable cooling technology.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and multidisciplinary teams to generate innovative concepts and quickly assess their feasibility through modelling and prototyping.
• Lead idea generation sessions and contribute to design reviews.

• Characterise and optimise the structural performance of components and systems, identifying and addressing performance-limiting factors.
• Ensure all products comply with structural and regulatory requirements.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to achieve design objectives.
• Conduct design validation and analysis, including FEA and tolerance studies.
• Produce DFMEA to identify and mitigate design risks
• Implement design validation plans and testing to ensure product function

• Collaborate on developing test plans (such as thermal, mechanical, and lifecycle testing) to validate product reliability.

• Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Present findings, recommendations, and technical reports to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within project teams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth product transition from design to production.
