An established and award‑winning multi‑disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Sheffield office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied project portfolio, take technical ownership, and play a key role in mentoring junior staff within a collaborative and supportive environment.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of structural design projects across multiple sectors.

This consultancy is a well‑respected, multi‑disciplinary engineering firm delivering services across structural, civil, geotechnical, and environmental sectors. • Designing concrete and steel frame structures, including medium to high‑rise buildings
• Working on existing buildings and refurbishment schemes
• Producing and reviewing calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
• Utilizing software such as Master Series, SCIA, or Strand7
• Overseeing and guiding CAD Technicians in the production of drawings
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
• Preparing design quotes and technical reports
• Mentoring and checking the work of graduates and junior engineers
• Collaborating with civil, geotechnical, and infrastructure teams
• Attending client meetings and contributing to strong working relationships

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' post‑graduate experience
• Working towards or achieved Chartered status (ICE or IStructE)
• Strong experience in hands‑on structural design
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
