Entertainments Coordinator (Live)

The UK’s Number 1 Students’ Union is looking for an Entertainments Coordinator to manage Foundry’s live music programme and a varied programme of one‑off and recurring club nights and events.

• Take full ownership of the in‑house marketing, promotion, and delivery of the live music programme.
• End‑to‑end management of events: diary management, artist confirmations, event advancing, duty management, post‑event settlements, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local and national promoters.
• Ensure events are delivered safely, legally, and in accordance with venue policies and licensing requirements.
• Coordinate with the team responsible for all events across Sheffield SU and Foundry, including live gigs, comedy, Roar, Pop Tarts, Grapefruit, and other nightclub brands.
• Develop new event concepts and inclusive, engaging experiences that resonate with student audiences and strengthen community connections.

• Experience delivering live music events and commercial entertainment programmes.
• Proven track record of working closely with promoters, artists, agents, and venue teams.
• Strong understanding of club nights, student events, and the wider live entertainment sector.
• Experience creating engaging marketing content across social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and event listings.
• Ability to develop innovative campaigns to build audiences, drive ticket sales, and maximise event reach.
