Customer Service Specialist

As part of our Membership Team, you'll report to our Membership Manager, to develop relationships and engage with our key demographic - parents, guardians, schools and children. You'll provide outstanding customer service and increase sales, as well as supporting our charitable initiatives, processing bookings, dealing with payments, following up on concerns and ensuring we deliver on all our customer expectations.

'First impressions count' have never been more important for our Membership Team. You're often the first point of contact for families when contacting us about their child places on Kings Camps. They could be making a booking, enquiring about places they've booked online or simply wanting to know about what we do.

You are the voice of our members. A large part of the role is to listen to our members, seek feedback and ensure that their comments - good or not so good - are heard across the organisation.

We're looking for you to have 1-2 years experience in a customer service role, good at chatting (and listening!), high level of written communication with attention to detail, be a great team player, experience of compiling reports and data analysis and have an excellent level of digital and computing skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)

• Where:
  Kings Active Foundation HQ, Sheffield (hybrid working with a mixture of office and home)
• Salary: £25,000 per annum, DOE
• Working pattern:
  We typically work 37.5 hours per week, within 8am-6pm Mon to Fri but flexibility is key and embracing peak demand at popular times of the year is required from our team

  Enhanced pension and employer contributions (5%) and Group Life Assurance Scheme

  In addition to statutory holidays, we offer a generous starting holiday allowance of 25 days per annum with additional holidays being added after 2 years' service up to a maximum of 30 days per annum (after 5 years' service).
