Accounts Senior

Known for its strong regional presence and people-first culture, this firm is seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role that will support the wider Accounts team and report into the Accounts Senior Manager.

This firm are a regional specialist in providing genuine business advice to a diverse range of clients from start up ventures through to large corporations and private individuals. They are a market leader in financial auditing, assurance, tax planning and compliance services making them a highly sought after firm to work for!

This role will be best suited to an AAT qualified individual from an Accountancy practice background looking for further study and the chance to work in a highly acquisitive fast growing organisation that can provide a wealth of further professional development.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

• Support the management of a diverse local client portfolio

• Preparation of month-end management accounts

• Preparation and completion of personal tax returns

• Completion of quarterly VAT returns

• Oversee client bookkeeping processes

• Preparation of financial statements to support the completion of statutory accounts production

Person Specification:

• AAT Qualified

• Experience of using Sage, Xero and Quick Books

• Experience of working within Accountancy Practice
