Interim Finance Director

Camino Search is supporting a fast-growing B2B software platform to secure an Interim Finance Director on a minimum 6 month contract

The business is seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide financial leadership and drive operational efficiency throughout the business, whilst business partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, IT, Legal and VC investors.

This role would suit an individual who is proven as a number one in finance, with solid experience in operating within a boardroom, dealing with founders/investors on a regular basis.

The role will suit a hands-on individual who enjoys, and has proven experience, operating within a rapid scale up environment driving processes and financial excellence.

• Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Oversee accounting, tax, compliance, and audit processes.
• Lead investor relations and external stakeholder management e.g. due diligence, debt reporting and management
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board, with a particular focus on commercial finance operations
• Implement and optimise financial systems and processes to support scalability, directly impacted by a rapid growth environment
• Partner with department leads including HR, IT, Tax Advisors and Legal
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, particularly with US tax responsibilities

• Proven as a Finance Director or senior finance leader in a B2B SaaS or technology business
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.), with the ability to build financial models and utilise scenario planning
• Exposure to working within investor-backed businesses, ideally with direct exposure within the boardroom, including reporting
• Hands-on approach, with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
