Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Location: Remote - London / Sheffield, UK
Duration: 2–3 Months (Contract)
Role PurposeTo provide expert technical support during a critical reward cycle. The Interim Reward Advisor will ensure that the Bank’s compensation structures remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with financial services regulatory expectations. You will act as a subject matter expert, leading on job evaluations and the annual salary review process.
Key Responsibilities- Annual Salary Review: Lead the end-of-year compensation cycle, ensuring data accuracy and providing recommendations for salary increases and bonus allocations.
- Job Evaluation: Conduct robust job evaluations for new and existing roles to ensure internal equity and correct grade placement.
- Market Benchmarking: Perform detailed salary benchmarking using financial services peer groups to ensure the Bank attracts and retains top-tier talent.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide direct counsel to the CPO on reward trends, budget impacts, and potential risks.
- Data Management: Manage complex compensation datasets, ensuring high levels of integrity for reporting and decision-making.
This is a high-visibility opportunity to own the reward agenda within a prominent state‑owned financial institution. With a direct line to the CPO, your expertise will have a tangible impact on the Bank's workforce during a pivotal time of year.
Note:Due to the 2-3 month duration, we are looking for a "plug-and-play" professional who can hit the ground running without extensive training on reward fundamentals.
