Role location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a growing organisation in the search for a Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team in Sheffield. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to work across EMEA and partner with global stakeholders, combining financial expertise with advanced data analysis and technology-driven reporting.

This role is less focused on commercial pricing and more centred on how financial data is structured, managed, extracted and analysed across the region. It sits at the intersection of finance and technology - ideal for someone who understands financial reporting but also has the technical capability to work with large, complex datasets.

• Analyse EMEA-wide financial data to support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
• Extract and query data from SAP and other systems using SQL
• Structure and manage large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency and usability
• Build and support reporting outputs in Power BI and Excel
• Translate complex financial data into clear, meaningful insight for senior stakeholders
• Adapt analysis based on changing business requirements and stakeholder requests
• Support improvements in data governance, reporting processes and automation
• Contribute to the business’s evolving use of AI and modern technologies to enhance reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with global FP&A teams to align reporting structures and best practice

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data or a related field - or equivalent practical experience
• Solid understanding of financial reporting principles
• Experience working with large datasets beyond standard Excel capability
• Exposure to Power BI or similar visualisation tools
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and manipulate complex data
• Agile thinker who can respond quickly to new requirements
• High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
