Financial Reporting Manager Cheshire Insurance

An impressive financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join its UK finance function. This is a key leadership role responsible for statutory, regulatory and governance reporting across multiple UK-regulated legal entities.

You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, accurate and timely financial reporting, while leading audit coordination and supporting capital management activities.

• Leading the UK Group Reporting team and overseeing delivery of accurate financial reporting outputs
• Coordinating the end-to-end statutory audit process, working closely with external auditors
• Ensuring timely submission of annual statutory accounts
• Managing quarterly and annual regulatory reporting, including Solvency II
• Supporting capital planning and forecasting
• Preparing technical accounting papers for new business initiatives and complex transactions
• Presenting financial statements and key reporting outputs to internal governance committees
• Managing relationships with senior stakeholders up to board level

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Proven background within a technical finance role in the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Proven experience coordinating statutory audit processes
  
  Solid understanding of Solvency II regulatory reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
• Experience managing and developing team members
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
