Bookkeeper

Aconstruction group based near Bradford is seeking a Part Time AAT Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

This role offers an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified to take on a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities Support daily finance and governance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance Maintain accurate records and uphold data integrity within financial systems Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial workflows Process weekly payroll Prepare monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals Perform balance sheet reconciliations Manage CIS returns and quarterly VAT submissions Key Skills & Attributes Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel Exceptional attention to detail A collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Excellent organisational and communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper or part-qualified accountant looking to progress their career within a respected construction business.
