THE ROLE

As an Investment Analyst in our Commercial Equity Funds team, you will help us invest in venture and growth capital funds that support businesses across the UK. You will work with Investment Managers and Senior Investment Managers on new investment opportunities and help manage a large portfolio of fund investments.

You will carry out research, review data, prepare clear analysis and support due diligence, financial modelling and reporting. You will use systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Affinity and PowerBI to keep information accurate, track opportunities and support quarterly reporting. You will also work with colleagues in Legal, Risk, Operations, Finance, Strategy and Economics, and may support communications and events where needed.

You will need experience in a commercial, banking or finance setting, either through work or an internship. You should be comfortable working with data, using Microsoft Office and communicating your findings clearly. You may already have some financial knowledge, or you may be keen to learn. An interest in technology, venture capital or financial modelling would be helpful.

You will be organised, collaborative and able to manage tasks in a busy team environment. You will be open to feedback, willing to build relationships and committed to working with professionalism and integrity.

To apply, you should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in a numerical or analytical subject. If you want to develop your investment career and help support access to finance for growing businesses, we would like to hear from you.
