As we continue to grow, we're now looking for a Junior Management Accountant.
The Role
As a Junior Management Accountant, working with our Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in providing insights that help drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Help prepare budgets and forecasts, providing key insights to ensure the company meets its financial targets.
- Cost Analysis: Analyse cost drivers and assist with cost control measures, offering suggestions for operational efficiency improvements.
- Variance Analysis: Help monitor and report on variances between budgeted and actual performance, providing explanations and recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of internal controls and streamline financial processes.
- Support the Finance Manager: Provide support with year-end accounts, audits, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA, CIMA, AAT).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive attitude, willing to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
