Senior Business Support Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Support Officer to provide comprehensive financial and administrative support within the Parks and Countryside Service. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of working independently in a busy environment, and quick to learn new skills.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Act as the key liaison between the service, the Council's Finance Team, and external suppliers.
• Handle financial tasks including raising purchase orders, processing invoices and credit notes, and matching orders to invoices.
• Process financial journals, monitor payments, and proactively resolve payment queries and delays.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and support the overall financial management of the service.

• Proven experience in financial and administrative roles.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
