Due to growth within the firm, there is now an exciting opportunity available to join our tax team as a personal tax assistant. The role is varied and involves:

• Tax return compliance – Preparing and processing personal tax returns, partnership tax returns and capital gains tax returns for a wide variety of clients.
• Client management – Gathering financial information from clients, handling routine queries, and building lasting professional relationships.
• HMRC/third party liaison – Communicating efficiently with HMRC and other third parties such as banks, letting agents, etc.
• Team support – Providing support to seniors on compliance work and ad-hoc advisory work.

We are looking for someone who:

• Pays attention to detail
• Is able to organise their own workload and meet deadlines
• Can adapt to change, and
• Has a flexible approach, particularly during peak busy periods in December and January

This role is the ideal starting point for a career in tax, with the opportunity to progress through professional qualifications (ATT and CTA) for the right candidate (on the job training will also be provided). Or you may already have personal tax experience and are looking to make a move or get back into work in this area. Either way, we would love to hear from you!
