Tax Accountant

We're currently recruiting for a Tax Accountant to join a growing business and become a key part of their in‑house finance team.

This is a broad role covering both direct and indirect tax
, with plenty of ownership from day one. It would suit someone who already has a solid understanding of tax and is looking to take the next step in their career.

• UK & international VAT compliance
• Corporation tax and wider direct tax
• Tax reporting, reconciliations and compliance
• CIS and transfer pricing
• Working with HMRC and external tax advisers
• Supporting tax process and systems improvements

• ATT qualified or CTA part-qualified
• ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified candidates with strong hands‑on tax experience also considered
• Good practical understanding of VAT
• Experience across both direct and indirect tax
• Someone confident working independently and taking ownership

This is not a role where you'll be starting from scratch - the successful candidate will need to be able to hit the ground running and already have a good understanding of core tax principles.
