Finance Business Partner

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting an Operational Finance Business Partner for a highly successful and well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield. This is a commercially and operationally focused role where you'll work closely with senior operational and business leaders, providing financial insight, constructive challenge and analysis to improve performance, drive profitability and support strategic decision-making.

Working as a trusted finance partner to the operational leadership team, you'll have responsibility for financial oversight and performance management across a key manufacturing facility and wider operations and service functions.

You'll play a key role in understanding the financial drivers of the business, challenging performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, margins and profitability. Benefits:

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Lead financial oversight and performance management across manufacturing, operations and service functions Develop and maintain product costing methodologies, analysing costs, margins and operational performance Business partner with operational leaders, senior management and executive stakeholders Provide financial insight, challenge and recommendations to support commercial and strategic decision-making Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes Prepare and present management reports, performance analysis and recommendations Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accurate reporting and robust financial controls Identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost control and profitability Support and develop junior finance team members through coaching, mentoring and line management They are looking for a commercially minded and confident Finance Business Partner with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

The role would suit a fully qualified finance professional with strong manufacturing or production experience who enjoys getting close to the operation and using finance to influence business performance. You'll ideally be:

- Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent Experienced as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or similar Experienced within a manufacturing, production or operational finance environment Strong in product costing, financial analysis and performance reporting Comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and influencing operational decision-making Analytical, proactive and commercially focused Passionate about continuous improvement and using financial information to drive better business performance Experienced in coaching, mentoring or managing junior finance professionals This is a genuine opportunity to move into a highly visible Finance Business Partner role, working directly with operational and senior leadership teams and having a tangible influence on business performance.
