The team is small and highly regarded, covering cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships and risk management across a complex, multi-currency group. A new Treasury Management System is being implemented, so it's a very good time to join.
Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, you'll own the accounting, control and reporting of the group's treasury activities. You'll work closely with Finance, Tax and local finance teams around the world. The role stays mainly accounting-focused while giving you broad exposure to a global treasury function.
What will you be doing?- Leading the month-end close for treasury entities and activities, including FX, interest and intercompany journals
- Leading budgeting, reforecasting and cash flow forecasting, and building strong forecasting practice across the group
- Monitoring FX exposures, analysing hedging requirements and executing FX hedging deals in line with Treasury Policy
- Administering intercompany loans, interest calculations and settlements across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
- Producing clear, impactful treasury reporting for senior and executive management
- Leading banking covenant monitoring and reporting
- Supporting external audit and internal controls, and continually improving processes, controls and MI
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- A strong grounding in accounting and financial controls, and an understanding of the accounting implications of treasury transactions
- Experience working in a large, multinational environment is essential
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn large datasets into meaningful insight
- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint and MS Office
- Confident communication, working well with colleagues across countries and functions
- Previous treasury experience will help, but it isn't essential. This role suits a strong technical accountant who wants to build treasury expertise in an international setting.
- Full-time, based in Sheffield or Leeds with hybrid working (3 days in the office)
- Salary of up to £70,000
- 28 days holiday + bank holidays
- Defined contribution pension scheme offering 6%
- Private medical cover
Annual bonus
