Finance Analyst – FTC

Pratap Partnership is recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a highly regarded, international organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Working as part of a small, experienced finance team, you'll take ownership of a defined area of financial activity, building relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring accurate, timely financial information.

• Managing financial information, reporting and reconciliations for a portfolio of senior stakeholders.

• Monitoring and analysing cash flow, payments and financial transactions.

• Preparing accurate financial reports and providing insight into financial performance and activity.

• Investigating and resolving financial queries, working closely with colleagues across the international business.

• Maintaining financial records and ensuring robust controls and processes.

• Supporting financial planning and reporting requirements.

• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and efficiency.

• Assisting with ongoing finance projects, including a transition to a December financial year-end.

We're looking for someone with a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to work with senior individuals across a complex organisation.

• Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience accountants will be considered.

• Experience with in professional services or a large, complex organisation would be advantageous.

• Strong financial reporting, reconciliations and cash flow experience.

• Excellent Excel skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.

• Comfortable managing your own workload and taking ownership of financial information.

This position would particularly suit someone who enjoys the analytical and stakeholder-facing aspects of finance, rather than a role focused purely on traditional month-end management accounts.

• £56,000 salary.

• 12-month fixed-term contract.
