Compensation: £42,840 - £46,142 / year
Description- Hours: 37 hours per week

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Information Governance Officer to join our Information Governance team.
This role provides senior and specialist support to the Information Governance function, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
About the roleLead the effective day-to-day delivery of information governance service, ensuring the team operates efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong customer focus to meet service standards and statutory response times, contributing to operational excellence and public accountability.
Promoting a culture of accountability and compliance to ensure that information governance is embedded across all functions, supporting organisational resilience and ethical data use.
Delivering effective operational and strategic leadership and management of the decision-making and statutory obligations of the Mayoral Combined Authority.
About you- Experience of information governance within a politically complex and accountable organisation, ideally within local government or a similar public sector body.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing information governance management strategies, policies, and frameworks aligned to organisational objectives and statutory requirements.
- Ability to translate legislative, regulatory, and sector developments into practical operational improvements, including assessing and responding to the impact of changes on governance arrangements.
