Medical Advisor – UK & Ireland

A great opportunity for an experienced Medical Advisor to support the development and execution of the migraine Medical Affairs plan across the UK and Ireland. Working under the Therapeutic Area Lead CNS, this role combines scientific leadership, strategic input and close engagement with Scientific Leaders, Key Decision Makers and cross-functional teams.

• Execute agreed medical tactics and ensure best-practice implementation.
• Communicate scientific therapy needs effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
• Build trust within the scientific community through peer-to-peer exchange, research collaboration and educational initiatives.
• Provide therapeutic training to internal teams and support medical education programmes and symposia.
• Lead Expert Input Forums and contribute to professional, academic and regulatory working groups.
• Translate global medical strategies into local tactics that improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with field and commercial teams, offering scientific and medical support.
• Evaluate promotional materials for scientific accuracy.
• Engage SLs/KDMs, gather insights and drive scientific initiatives.
• Provide scientific input for digital projects and regulatory queries.
• Adapt tactical plans to local market realities while upholding high ethical and scientific standards.
• Support therapy training content for the sales team and demonstrate strong strategic thinking.

• MD, PhD, Pharm
  
  D or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Medical Advisor (or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical guidelines including ABPI, plus regulatory and clinical research frameworks.
• Scientific knowledge in neurology or migraine preferred.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
