Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support the clinical leadership of our service. This position is based in Crawley, easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work in a low and medium secure service for male patients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007), who benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation.

Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist:
- Communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, service users, carers, families, stakeholders, and agencies
- Provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants
- Coordinate occupational therapy student placements
- Support appraisals and personal development plans for junior staff
- Develop and implement policies, protocols, and care pathways
What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist:
- Current HCPC registration
- Evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills
- Specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models
