To provide clinical speech and language therapy services to a defined specialised caseload as part of the Adult Community SLT team.
To specialise in the assessment and management of communication disorders and dysphagia.

The SLT service covers acute and community SLT for adults in Sheffield. It is a large service with 66 members of the team (51.94 WTE) including SLTs, SLT assistants, and admin support. The SLT teams are highly motivated, research active, and embrace innovation. The service has established processes for supervision and supports personal and professional development.

We are looking for a Band 6 Speech & Language therapist who is passionate about community‑based care for adults with swallowing and communication disorders. The successful applicant will join the wonderfully supportive Sheffield Adult Community Team (ACT).
Role: part time, 27 hours (0.73 WTE).
