Care Assistant

Situated in a quiet area in the suburb of Crosspool in Sheffield, we provide Residential and Dementia care for 44 residents.

Care Assistant contract details: £12.71 per hour, contracted to 36 hours per week. Paid DBS pension, uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract).

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents' lives every day. This role is central to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will:

• support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing
• help residents feel comfortable, respected and valued
• follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care
• work as part of a supportive team to create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter
• be open to applicants with varying levels of experience and access full training, guidance and ongoing development
• work alternate weekends as required

• Willingness to learn and develop
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards
