Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
  • Valid, in-date NMC pin without restrictions to practice
  • Evidence of recent clinical CPD
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with the NHS
  • Contract:

    1 x 42 hour day shift, 1 x 42 hour night shift; bank contracts also available
Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care according to their individual care plans
  • Liaise with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and residents to ensure care meets individual requirements and recommend changes in care need
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with company policy
  • Monitor resident nutrition and hydration, updating nutrition plans as needed
  • Monitor residents for risks around pressure wounds and abnormalities regarding toilet output
  • Participate in and promote resident activities
