Housekeeper – St Lukes Hospice

At St Lukes Hospice, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and dignified care for the people of Sheffield. We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our Facilities team and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff. As a Housekeeper, youll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the Hospice. This includes carrying out daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks, disposing of waste in line with infection control procedures, and using equipment safely following training. Youll also support our laundry service, washing, drying, ironing, and carefully returning patients personal items and bed linen.

In addition, youll help maintain calm and welcoming surroundings by remaking beds, refreshing patient areas, and ensuring our hospice environment is always safe and comfortable. Working both independently and as part of our friendly Facilities team, youll contribute to the day-to-day experience of patients and their loved ones.

St Lukes Hospice is a leading Sheffield charity dedicated to providing specialist palliative care to people with terminal illnesses, as well as supporting their families and carers. Every year, we care for around 1,800 patients, both at our Little Common Lane hospice and in the wider community.
