Housekeeper – St Lukes Hospice

At St Lukes Hospice, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and dignified care for the people of Sheffield. We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our Facilities team and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff. This is a rewarding role where your work directly contributes to the comfort and wellbeing of those in our care.

From keeping patient areas spotless to ensuring laundry is managed with respect and efficiency, you will help create a homely atmosphere that supports every aspect of hospice life. Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper, youll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the Hospice. This includes carrying out daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks, disposing of waste in line with infection control procedures, and using equipment safely following training. Youll also support our laundry service, washing, drying, ironing, and carefully returning patients personal items and bed linen.

In addition, youll help maintain calm and welcoming surroundings by remaking beds, refreshing patient areas, and ensuring our hospice environment is always safe and comfortable. Working both independently and as part of our friendly Facilities team, youll contribute to the day-to-day experience of patients and their loved ones.
